介紹中國生肖是把每十二年用動物表示: 
Introducing the 12 animals as signs representing each year of a 12-year-cycle.

我們從小朋友的年紀知道他們的生肖是什麼:
We worked out every child's animal sign of their birth year:
James 猴 / Alec, Li-Li 雞 / Kieran, Jojo, Lily, Siona, Henry 豬 / Duriel 鼠 / Caitlin 馬 / Jasmine 兔

小朋友可以從玩偶中找到屬於自己生肖的動物。
The children found the stuffed animals that belong to their signs.

Chinese animal zodiac song:

小老鼠打头来    牛把蹄儿抬

小朋友首先都認識了這十二個動物的名字,也都可以正確找出這些動物
The children could all call out the names of those 12 animals and were able to identify them accurately.

配合12生肖歌的歌詞,做動作和取得正確動物玩偶
Along with singing the animal zodiac song, act out and get the correct stuffed animal.

使用圖片字卡,小朋友幫動物玩偶和圖字卡配對起來
Matching the stuffed animals with the picture+word cards.

使用字卡,沒有圖,小朋友來認字
The children were to recognise the chinese characters without pictures.

複習兒歌 (singings)
- 頭,肩膀,膝腳趾 (head, shoulder, knees and toes)
- 找朋友 (Find friends)
- 兩隻老虎 (Two tigers)

複習身體部位 (review body parts) :
- 耳朵 ears
- 眼睛 eyes
- 嘴巴/口 mouth
- 鼻子 nose
- 手 hands
- 腳 feet
- 腿 legs
- 頭 head
- 頭髮 hair
- 膝蓋 knees
- 屁股 bottom
- 肩膀 shoulders
- 手臂 arms
- 手指 fingers
- 脖子 neck
- 肚子 tummy

進階學習 (advancing learning) :
- 認字 (recognising the chinese characters): 
耳朵/眼睛/嘴巴/手 (ear/eye/mouth/hand)
腳/頭髮/頭/鼻子 (feet/hair/head/nose)
matching pictures of those body parts to the words

- 動詞 (adding verbs)
耳朵:聽   ear: listen
眼睛:看   eye: see/look
嘴巴:說話/吃  mouth: talk, eat
手:拿,拍,摸  hand: take something/clap/touch

Lesson 9 - 08/01/13

學習內容(learning contents):

开场(warm up)

让小朋友Jasmine, Caitlin, and Duriel 先练习跳呼拉圈并且同时数1,2,3。
Let small children Jasmine, Caitlin and Duriel practise jumping over Hoopla-loops , and do counting 1 to 3 at the same time.

加强复习数字-consolidate the numbers
复习数字1-10. 由James 拿 数字卡提示。
Revise the numbers 1-10 on the whiteboard with James holding the Chinese number symbol.

听力测验- listening test
将数字卡分散在地上。 老师说一组号码,学生将数字从地上拿起来并且重新组合出老师的号码。
Spreading out all the numbers on the floor and let the children to fetch the numbers called out by teacher and assemble them in order.

记忆力活动- memory activity –Snap game

玩抓数字牌游戏-
Playing snap game to let children grab the numbers called out by teacher.

自我介绍-say my name

全部小孩一起念白版上数字, 最后说我是----------(名字)得第一.
Grouping chanting the numbers written on the whiteboard and each child take a turn to say their own name.

练习写数字- writing the number

学生在白白板上练习写数字。
Pupils practise writing the number on the mini-whiteboard

游戏- Game

利用我的朋友在哪里的歌玩丢手巾游戏。
